InterCLASS has a “Remote All” feature that allows you to control keyboards and mice on all student computers simultaneously. You can also type in key sequences and apply any setting change to all computers at once. This is a great time saver for school technicians doing maintenance in the lab or classroom and applying software installation executables.

In order to enable the “Remote ALL” feature, you can execute it from either the “Remote Control” button or “Tech Tools” button. 
Both function buttons are hidden by default and you need to display them on the teacher console.

Showing the Remote Control and Tech Tools button

  1. Start the InterCLASS Teacher Program.
  2. Click Settings>General Settings on the bottom right.
  3. Click the Function & Panel tab
  4. Click the Show/Hide Function Buttons button then the Show/Hide Function Buttons dialog will appear.
  5. Select the Remote Control and Tech Tools from the Hidden Functions list and click the [>] to add them to the Displayed Functions list.
  6. Click Close and OK to close the setting dialogs.You will see the Remote Control and Tech Tools button on the right side task menu.

 

 

Using Remote ALL from the Remote Control button

  1. Click the Down Arrow button next to Remote Control and select to check the Remote All option.

     

  2. Click the Remote Control button then the Remote All dialog will be appear
  3. Select a student computer which you want to make as the “representative PC” to control the mouse and keyboard and click Start.


  4. The selected student screen will appear on the teacher’s display.
  5. Click the Remote button on the sub menu bar, then you can start remote controlling all of the computers.


  6. Click the Stop button to stop it.

Using Remote ALL from the Tech Tools button

The Tech Tools includes window control, student screen resolution control and send command/script options. 
In order to get the same results for the Remote All, please make all of the student screen resolutions the same if you find that they have different screen resolutions.

  1. Click the Tech Tools button, then the Tech Tools dialog will appear.

  2. To make all student display resolutions the same size, click the Screen Resolution button.
  3. Select 1024X768 16bit (Recommended) and click Apply, then the student screen resolution will be changed.


  4. Click the Remote ALL button, then the Remote All dialog will appear.
  5. Select a student computer which you want to make as the “representative PC” to control the mouse and keyboard and click Start.
  6. The selected student screen will appear on the teacher’s display.
  7. Click the Remote button on the sub menu bar, then you can start remote controlling all of the computers.
  8. Click the Stop button to stop it.
