Recording InterCLASS Cloud Student App Logs for Troubleshooting

In order to record and save log files from problematic student Chromebooks, please do the following:

  1. Please allow for the use of the Developer Tools on the student OU temporarily and use a USB drive to save the log files.

  2. Go to the classroom and start an InterCLASS Cloud class on the teacher's machine.

  3. On the student's Chrome browser, in the URL address bar, type in chrome://extensions in order to get to the Extensions page.

  4. On the right side of the browser window, please make sure to turn on the Developer mode.

  5. Under the Chrome Apps section, you will see InterCLASS Cloud Student. Click on the Details button.

  6. On the Details page, scroll down to the Inspect Views section.

  7. Click on the pages/index.html. The index will show in the Console View.

  8. Right-click (or touch and press two fingers on the Chromebook touchpad) on the log view area and click Save As to save the log file.

  9. Save the log file to your USB drive and please send it to us.
